Tom Siebel was the featured guest at a panel discussion at Chatham House, the Royal Institute of International Affairs in London. The panelists outlined how the merging of technologies – such as elastic cloud computing, artificial intelligence, big data and the internet of things – are disrupting nearly all industries and sectors. As these intersecting technologies permeate everything from manufacturing to retail to healthcare, CEOs and other business leaders will need to invest time, effort, and capital to ensure the long-term survival and success of their organizations.

This event was part of Chatham House’s Digital Society Initiative (DSI) which brings together policy and technology communities to help address the challenges that rapid advances in technology are causing in domestic and international politics. The initiative’s mission is to maximize the potential of this century’s most influential technological developments through solution-driven policy recommendations for a sustainably secure, prosperous, and just world.
